For those in the know and those who still care (since its 2018) it was Gambler's vanity project and sales portal for his, equally defunct, puatraining (which i̶n̶ ̶l̶i̶q̶u̶i̶d̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ as reported last year. But now closed).
The forum was a redirect and attempt to recommercialise the bought out and closed MASF forum.

Gambler left the forum and stopped contributing, allowing his spotty, 30-something virgin keyboard jockeys and fedora wearing nerd shut-ins- to run their autistic virgin ramblings amok under the guise of a professional dating forum.
One such moderator has been nightclubbing for 10 years (since 2008 and he was an old-cel 25 y/o then) and still hasn't got laid despite going out every weekend by himself. He posted a mental breakdown that he got barred from a bar by club management.
When I messaged him a 10 year anniversary message he went ballistic sending me a torrent of abusive pms.

No PUA isn't dead b/c this one forum is gone. There are others. The closure of this forum is a by-product of PUA Training getting liquidated as you mentioned. These forums are not really useful anyway, just the blind leading the blind.

PUA is dead. With dwindling or deleted/archived forums, key figures abandoning ship, PUA is losing its last remaining platforms and any trace of influence.

Online dating, Tinder, I-Phones and female friendly gyms saw to that. Not to mention nightclubs are, and always were, a temple of degeneracy that should shatter any delusional losers dreams of women who (don't even) try to appear more morally superior than they really are. The other day when I was talking to my fellow incel friend about the current state of the scam PUA industry, he was of the view that the PUA industry has hit a plateau, but it's nowhere near as big as it was say around the time the Neil Strauss book "The Game" came out in 2005.

Me personally, I think the PUA industry is in decline, as more and more men are becoming red pilled ie. they realise that attraction cannot be taught, and that it's mostly about looks. Also, with the declining economies of many western nations (where PUA is prevalent), men have less discretionary income to drop $3K on some useless PUA boot camp.

Also, when you factor in Tinder, on line dating etc, plus the fact that many countries are beefing up their anti-sexual harassment laws, the days of men cold approaching women in bars, clubs and in the open are numbered, so where are these wannabe "Pick Up Artists" are going to be able to run their "game"?
